Rust on a car in the PNW. Red flag, right there. It takes extraordinary neglect and worse to get them to rust up here.

I know because I have a friend that pulls old Subarus that have been sitting for decades or longer in the woods and fixes them... 1970s-80s Subarus, from the era when they didn’t understand the concept of rustproofing barely have surface rust.
